Last Day Of School!

Its the last day of school before summer vacation. I am off to my children's little party's and Destinie (my youngest) and I made all the teachers little treat boxes. I used DCWV street lace, flat back pearls, Tim Holtz sewing room die and some cute pleated lace. Have a wonderful summer vacation.

Altered Heart Box

I got this heart paper mache box from michal's and painted it with vintage white acrylic paint (3 coats). For the paper around the bottom of the box is from My Minds Eye Lost and Found Collection. I made the pink spray and the clear spray was off of some garland from the wedding section at michaels. The flower was from frog feather on etsy. It was white and I dye it with Lindys stamp gang's starburst spray Ramblin Rose Pink. The crystal flower in the center was made from the same wedding garland. The mini white flowers are from michael's dollar section.The trim around the top edge was from my local hobby lobby and dyed with the same color as the flower.
I think that I am back on track now. It took awhile to get back to wanting to craft. I had surgery over the holidays and I am just now getting back into it. I have lots of projects that I want to share with you as soon as I finish them. Have a wonderful day.

Top Note Snow Man Box and Box Tutorial

Here is another top note creation I wanted to share. I used the top note die from stampin up. For the eyes I used the 3/4 inch circle punch. I free style cut the carrot for the nose. The cheeks are chalked. The red poinsettia is Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die, with gold stickles and 3 flat pearls in the center. The Foliage is a Martha Stewart punch. The inside box is real easy. Cut a peice of card stock 4 3/4 X 8 inches. Score 1, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, and 7 inches Turn and score 1 inch along the Bottom of the long side. 

Then Sandwich the box between 2 top note dies cuts. Box is open at top.

The items used in this box are Paper: My Mind's Eye Lost & Found, Ink: Stampin up - true thyme, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Brushed Corduroy, Accessories: Chipboard, gems, Sizzix Butterfly Die, Stampin up Top Note Die,Glimmer Mist, Cardstock. Stampin up Scallop envelope.

Valentines Box and Mini Album

I made this box and mini album using one of Laura kits from The Paper Trail . She is a great inspiration to me and I just love her work. I am hoping to get more of her kits.
